I am busy transcribing the Gretraches Births/Marriages/Deaths from 1837-1901, covering the whole of the Victorian period.
This should take approximately 3 months. This will, I believe, throw up some interesting statistics.

Gratrix = 275 = 17.14%
Greatrix = 80 = 4.99
The other10% is made up of Greatorix, Gratorex, Gratorix, Graterix, Gratrick, Graterex and others.
Topographical/spelling information
North West (Salford/Stockport/Liverpool/Chorlton/Bolton) Gratrix accounts for 78.1% of births
East Midlands (Derby/Burton/Basford/Leicester/Notts) Greatorex accounts for 91.32% of births
West Midlands (Nuneaton/Stafford/Walsall/West Bromwich/Wolverhampton) Greatrex accounts for 92.3% of births
